The athlete
who became
the doctor
he needed.
Dr. Michael Fontana, D.C., Redwood City native, motocross athlete, and the chiropractor he wished he’d had after his own injury. Undergraduate in exercise and rehabilitation from San Jose State. Doctorate, with honors, from Palmer College of Chiropractic West.
A motocross shoulder injury sent Dr. Mike looking for relief. The chiropractor he found didn’t just patch him up — the recovery was life-changing. That experience became the practice.
Born and raised in Redwood City, Dr. Mike has always been an active person — staying healthy and training hard have been part of him for as long as he can remember. He earned his undergraduate degree in exercise and rehabilitation from San Jose State, then went on to graduate with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic West, where he received his doctorate.
Today, the work is personal: helping people who train stay active and perform at their best. New patients get 55 minutes — hands-on the whole time, one doctor, no handoffs. That’s the kind of care that put him back on the bike, and it’s the kind he wants every patient to walk out with.
What the
practice stands for.
Personalized, high-quality care that keeps active people active and injury-free. We go beyond chiropractic and rehab: every visit teaches the mechanics behind the pain and the lifestyle pieces that compound, so patients leave with a little more ownership of their long-term well-being.
Fontana Chiropractic is built on trust, and on the quality of life it returns to the people who walk through the door. Care is one-on-one and integrated, never piecemeal. We're building the kind of reputation that takes years to earn: patient-centered, quality-first, unwilling to compromise on either.
